The best resort experiences happen through people

Luxury resorts have perfected the physical experience: beautiful courts, wellness spaces, clinics, and world-class facilities.

But socially, many guests are still left figuring things out themselves.

Solo travellers struggle to find partners. Couples want to meet like-minded guests. Players hesitate to approach strangers. Courts sit empty despite demand existing all around the resort.

VayPlay was created to remove that friction, helping resorts turn sport into connection, participation, and memorable guest experiences.

Resorts already have the facilities. They need the social layer.

Guests want to play but don’t know who to play with

Many resort guests arrive ready to stay active, but struggle to coordinate games or meet compatible players.

Empty courts don’t create memorable stays

Underutilized facilities reduce participation, wellness engagement, and overall guest satisfaction.

Social experiences create stronger resorts

Modern guests remember meaningful experiences, shared activities, and connections made during their stay.

Modern travellers value participation over passive luxury

Today’s guests increasingly seek movement, wellness, connection, and shared experiences, not just beautiful destinations.

Modern hospitality is evolving from passive amenities toward active participation and memorable social experiences.

Resorts are no longer judged only by their facilities, but by the experiences and connections guests take home with them.

VayPlay started with a simple frustration

I love sport, but like many people balancing work, family, and children, finding time to play consistently isn’t easy.

Resort holidays were often one of the few times I actually had the opportunity to properly play tennis, padel, or try new sports.

The facilities were beautiful. The courts were there. The guests were there.

But the social coordination didn’t exist.

At multiple resorts, there was no simple way to find other guests to play with, organise competitive games, or join activities suited to your level.

Most of the time, I ended up playing with my partner - which was enjoyable, but not quite the same experience when you’re looking for more competitive or social play.
That disconnect felt surprising for modern hospitality.

VayPlay was created to help resorts turn world-class facilities into connected guest experiences, making sport more social, seamless, and memorable for everyone staying at the resort.
